Check Algarve

Data Accuracy

Check Algarve displays data sourced exclusively from official Portuguese government agencies and EU institutions. We do not generate, estimate or infer data: everything shown on the platform originates from an authoritative public body.

How we source data

Our map layers consume official government geographic services in real time. When you view fire risk, flood zones or protected areas on the map, you are seeing the same data that Portuguese government departments publish to their own systems.

Structured datasets such as rental licence records, market statistics and bathing water quality are refreshed on regular schedules ranging from weekly to annually, depending on how frequently the source authority publishes updates.

What we check

We run automated verification processes to detect stale data, broken source connections and structural inconsistencies. Our platform has been independently audited for data accuracy across tax rates, geographic data, legal references and statistical figures.

Limitations

Government source data may contain errors, omissions or delays. Geographic boundaries on map layers may not align perfectly with cadastral records. Market statistics are published with a lag of one to two quarters. Rental licence data depends on property owners complying with registration requirements.

Check Algarve is an information platform, not a substitute for professional due diligence. Always verify critical data with a qualified local lawyer or surveyor before making property purchase decisions.
