Refund Policy

What we sell

Check Algarve sells property intelligence reports in PDF format. Each report is a one-off digital product generated for a specific location in the Algarve, Portugal. Reports are generated automatically from publicly available government and EU data sources at the time of purchase.

Digital delivery

Reports are delivered immediately upon successful payment. You will receive a download link on screen and a copy sent to the email address you provided at checkout. Download links remain active for 12 months.

When we issue refunds

Because reports are digital products generated and delivered instantly, we cannot offer refunds simply because you changed your mind. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you consent at the point of purchase to waive your 14-day cancellation right for immediate digital delivery.

We will issue a full refund if:

  • Your report failed to generate due to a technical error on our side
  • Your report was not delivered (neither the on-screen download nor the email)
  • You were charged more than once for the same report

How to request a refund

Contact us via our customer support page within 14 days of purchase. Please include:

  • The email address you used at checkout
  • The approximate date and time of purchase
  • A brief description of the issue

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 24 hours and to process approved refunds within 5 working days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a refund request, please contact us again via the support page and we will review your case. We are committed to resolving all customer issues fairly and promptly.
